The survey of piping systems is a service offered by many of our competitors in today's market. Servtech can however offer this service in such a way that we can incorporate piping engineering services as required by the client. What is involved?
- Wall thickness checks on pipework OR
- Material scanning for minimum thickness
- Record results with clients "as-built" drawings OR
- Servtech provide new electronic piping schematics
- Determine the client preferred criteria
- Determine operating temperature and pressure
- Ensure isometrics include all details on fitting etc
- Source all data with regard to material grade
- Construct piping model and run programme
- Then determine if additional supports are required
- Finally isolate system hot spots
- Design fit for purpose inspection programme
The manual which is developed from the above process is a continuous working tool, which must be updated as and when any changes are made to the system. Servtech can provide the management system for this.
