The inspection of mooring systems i.e. anchor chain or mooring wires or indeed combination systems have been part of our service provision for nearly 20 years.
Knowledge of standards and methods of inspection have allowed us to provide our clients with the assistance in planning and execution of these inspections.
We have also assisted with an anchor chain management plan for one of the drilling industry's leading contractors. With this system we managed the stock of spare chain and held on file all resultant documentation. Servtech also dealt directly with the Certifying Authorities and their various requirements.
Mechanical testing and material analysis of sample anchor chain for determination of quality is also one of our areas of expertise.
